What happens after you upload your documents

As soon as your profile photo and both sides of your licence are uploaded, your application enters review. Reviews run continuously, day and night — most complete within the hour.
The three outcomes
- Approved — you get an email ("Your eBakkie Driver Account is Approved!") and your app unlocks going online once your vehicle is also approved.
- A document is rejected — you get an email with the exact reason (for example, the photo was too blurry). The rejected document is removed and the app will walk you through uploading a new one. Fix it and you are automatically reviewed again.
- Sent for manual review — some cases need a human decision (for example, an expired licence). Our team handles these as fast as possible; you can speed things up by uploading a renewed document if yours has expired.
Still showing "under review"?
Approval has two parts: you as the driver, and your vehicle. If your account is approved but your vehicle is not yet, you will not be able to go online. Check My Vehicles in the app and make sure your vehicle details and licence disc are uploaded.
